Tanuru’s vision is to be a champion for smallholder farming productivity, profitability and sustainability by adapting agricultural research, technology and market access provision in African smallholder context.
Mission in progress
Tanuru’s ongoing mission, through projects such as the model farm above, is to create backward and forward linkages between the poultry and soybean value chains in south-western Kenya while promoting climate change mitigation and adaptation for sustainable development of smallholder livelihoods and the environment.
